My name is Stacey Grubb I work in Fife Shopping and support services. I got the opportunity to go to the SECC in Glasgow to the Community Job Scotland conference. I learned how CJS runs and the statistics of how many people they have helped. We also heard from employees that CJS has helped there was two employees that amazed me one who was a ex offender and to hear how CJS has helped him and turned his life around and two the girl in the wheel chair to hear her story was amazing and how CJS can make a huge impacted on peoples lives. This experience of going to the conference has gave me a lot of knew and the SCVO has made a huge impact on me to get funding as after I got diagnosed with my illnesses I couldn't do my childcare career so I got this CJS job and has boosted up my confidence knowing I can do things and all the staff work with are great to work with. When I was in Glasgow I also got the opportunity to speak with SCVO staff to ask about further training and what can happen next after my contract is up. I am so happy I have able to gain a CJS job as I have seen more potential in me and hope I can gain a full time job in December
